Finally got my hair sliced by the barber. I was so happy that there was no queue. The barber was instead waiting for his first customer of the day. Me! The bonus of shiftwork is that on off days that fall on weekdays, most of the places are very much less crowded. Bad thing is that I have to work weekends. Well, at least this Sunday is off for me.

Contrary to what most people believe in. Short hair does not equal a cooler sensation. In fact, my head feels warmer with short hair as compared with longer hair. Its too bad the terrible weather in Singapore does not allow me to keep my hair long. Whatever it is, when I am overseas, I will cut my hair only once a year. During summer. Then I'll let it grow all year round to keep my head warm during the wonderful winter.

I find the local weather just too warm. The nearly 100% humildity makes it so much more worse. The temperatures seem to be soaring annually. It might just be too hot to live in Singapore in the next 10 years. As I prefer a cooler climate as well as the four seasons. The weather is really a plus point for migration. The only thing I'll miss here is the food. Dad say you don't get kway chap in New York.
