Listening to Hillsongs Youth Alive - Perfect King

Spent the earlier part of yesterday morning editing video clips from recordings made during my time in ACJC. Senior-Junior interaction can be so funny, so exciting and a unique showcase of the AC Spirit bonding ACSians together. How quickly two years have passed, and now my juniors are all in the midst of their A levels.

I was into videography for a short period of time in ACJC, but gave it up later in favour of photography. Both medias have their distinct advantages, but its easier and quicker to edit a photograph, than an entire digital video. Still present in my DV tapes are a couple hours worth of untouched raw AC footage. Perhaps I'll delve into them in another year's time. The flood of memories coming back, as well as nostalgia makes my 12 wonderful years in there feel like 2 days.

I had a Double-Whopper meal with cheese Kingsize for dinner today. I still remember Friday nights, a large chunk of the ACJC CF would head down to the BK outlet at Holland Village for about 2 over hours of fellowship. Mushroom Swiss double upsize was the norm until we realised that it was more value for money to take the Double Whopper. BK would always be flooded with ACJC people, almost like a continuing tradition. The swimmers, canoeist, atheletics, science council, debate and other CCA groups would just go there and take up all the seats.

Occasionally, there would be the typical RJC group. They would climb up the stairs, reach the top, glance around. See nothing but a sea of white and blue. Then the whole group would make a quick U-turn and a hasty exit. Only to head to KFC next door. And all the ACJC people would laugh. I really miss those days. Chatting over dinner in Burger King on a Friday night was a wonderful way to end the schoolweek. Of course, BK was also the temporary camping ground when we zaoed school. But that's a different story.

Church was wonderful. The praise and worship was once again, much above my expectations. I really so love to sing to God. I'm almost like a person who is so read to just burst out into song during praise and worship in church. Free worship is usually my favourite part of the whole entire praise and worship segment. Singing to God brings me great pleasure and joy as well as happiness.

Well, once again, I learnt more about the family from a Christian perspective. It just brought new revelation and understanding. To much sadness within me as well and I did not pray the final closing prayer since it pertained to matters that I feel do not apply towards me. Other than that, I enjoyed learning about God's plan for a family.

Joline: Join the Police? Perhaps, but the Civil Service does not rank high on my list of employers. If I do join the Police however. I'll head to the Police Coast Guard again, carry the rank of DSP and be a C.O of one Coastal Patrol Craft (CPC) from the elite Coastal Patrol Squadron. All to take care of a small rock crop 28 Nm from our shorelines.

With regards to being a writer. I doubt that I have any semblance of writing ability. My language, prose, vocabulary, command of English, as well as being able to include double meanings in the phrases and sentence structure is certainly not on par with even some sec 1 literature students. Writing on a blog is just a casual outlet for me and my demented thoughts. Its all done for fun.
