To top off yesterday's bad day. Dinner was extraordinarily expensive and my computer crashed upon reaching home. What happens now is that I can't use the Net.
The cable modem form is fine. The 4 LEDs are working. Only the "Activity" one does not light up. Upon further inspection. I realised that my DNS, Gateway and other I.Ps cannot be resolved. Worst, they cannot be repaired. Attempting to do so hangs the whole computer.
I guess I'll be offline for quite some time. At least a week I predict. No blogging either. Just gonna ask Dad to help me call down the starhub guy to check the modem and settings. Call Nico to tweak the system. Worst, reformat and reinstall everything.
That's about 29.3 Gigs of Stuff I have. ACS Pictures, Movies that I have edited. Class MTVs. 8 wonderful gigs of MP3s. Another one gig of wma files. And a whole slew of videos clips that I have downloaded and have been sent to me. Sigh. That's almost 50 blank CD Rs. I have half the mind to ask Dad to get me a new computer.
Every computer I own - It crashes like once every six months. Forcing a "time out" of 6 months and a reformatt and reinstalling or everything. I can't afford it this time. Have to pay the 56 bucks for the cable subscription and I'm still under contract to Starhub.
I hope everything works out fine.
