I couldn't sleep yesterday. At 3 a.m I was still tossing and turning in the bed. Partly due to the itchy dandruff. I've learnt NEVER to apply conditioner to my hair. It is the catalyst that starts my dandruff all over again. Professor Chow, my sec 4 chemistry TUITION TEACHER once told me that anti-dandruff products contain selenium suphide, which causes baldness. I don't want to use anti-dandruff shampoos freely and later regret it when I am 40! Prof. Chow used himself as an example: He started balding at 45 due to his extensive use of selenium based anti-dandruff products when he was younger.

I somehow managed to get to church and even managed to find a condemned seat outside the door. Not bad, I could queue sitting down. Thank you God. Less people queued today, so there was so massive squeeze and crush outside the door. Once the doors opened, I ran into the sanctuary and managed to get seats on the 4th row! Its is like the closest seats ever than I've managed to get to the stage. The first 3 rows are for Pastors, Zone supervisors and Cell Group Leaders.

Thankfully, everyone came quickly today, so there was so irritating usher bugging us when the next empty seat would be filled up. Diana brought a new friend to church today. I can really remember his name. Communication disorder.

Today's preacher was Pastor Tan. Dr Kong is alway preaching overseas. Pastor Tan just spoke to us about responsibility and certain mentalities that we should avoid. He also touched in the point that knowing the meaning of life will make you wise in living your life. The service ended early with an alter call for non-christians and backsliders.

The cellgroup met Brother Yang Yi, Merf is leaving for Brisbane this Thursday so Brother Yang Yi will be taking our cellgroup for next week's cellgroup meeting at George's house. Brother Yang Yi is Liang Wei's Cell Group Leader so when I was introduced to him my Merf, he just said, "Ah Alwyn! I have heard alot about you from Liang Wei!" I felt like dying. Wonder what LLW has said to him.

I just excused myself from next week's cellgroup by saying that LLW and I would be having attachment. If I'm not wrong, both of us will be attached to the Coastal Patrol Squadron the Elite shoreline patrol team. Brother Yang Yi immediately suggested timing a make up cellgroup for us on Friday. With leaders like them, sometimes it is hard to purposefully skip cellgroup meeting.

The cellgroup headed over to Macdonald's across the street for lunch. I was so poor so I could only have a packet of fries.l Damn NS! Make us work so hard and pay us peanuts! I can't stand being poor espcially since dad does not give me money anymore. I'm getting even less money than in JC. The cellgroup girls didn't want fast food at first, but since it was blisteringly hot, they had no choice. Heh!

Later, the whole bunch of us decided to go to Parkway's Coffee at City Hall for a drink. It was a long 1 hour journey which I slept through. In the end, since I was so broke, I decided to walk to marina square nearby to withdraw money from an ATM.

I walked the WHOLE ENTIRE MARINA SQUARE AND I COULDN'T EVEN FIND A SINGLE POSB ATM! I HATE MARINA SQUARE! I ABSOULTELY HATE, REVILE, DESPISE, CURSE THAT WRETCHED PLACE! SO HUGE YET NOT EVEN A SINGLE POSB ATM MACHINE. MAKE ME WALK LIKE A BLOODY DOG FROM ONE END TO THE OTHER AND YET NOT A SINGLE POSB ATM IN SIGHT! STUPID POSB! STUPID DBS! WHY ARE THERE SO MANY HSBC AND OCBC ATM MATCHINES WHEN HARDLY ANYONE HAS THEIR BANK CARDS? FIRST KENNY ROGER'S AT THE LAST CLASS OUTING AND NOW THIS! I HATE THAT PLACE MAN. I HOPE IF SINGAPORE EVER SEES A WAR, THAT WRETCHED BUILDING WILL BE THE FIRST TO BE BOMBED BY THE ENEMIES BOMBS! I'M NEVER GOING TO GO TO MARINA SQUARE FOR THE REST OF MY WHOLE ENTIRE LIFE. I WILL FOREVER BOYCOTT THAT PLACE! I HATE IT! I DESPISE THAT WRETCHED SHOPPING CENTER WHEN EVERYTHING IS SO DISORGRANISED! FOOD ON THE 3RD FLOOR DEPARMENT SHOP 2ND FLOOR, CLOTHES SHOPS 1ST FLOOR. UNLIKE OTHER SHOPPING CENTERS WHERE FOOD IS 1ST, CLOTHES SECOND, DEPARTMENT 3RD. MARINA SQUARE'S HAPHAZARD ARRANGEMENT OF ITS STALL AND UTTERLY USELESS CUSTOMER SERVICE WILL BE ITS ULTIMATE DOWNFALL!

Trying to withdraw cash totally ruined my mood. I was hot, sweaty, tired, frustrated, thirsty and hungry. I just sat with the others and tired to form a meaningful conversation with them. We travelled so far as a cellgroup to have only Merf buy himself a 6 dollar drink. I just don't understand my cellgroup. Travel so far away only to not spend money.

I left at 6.30 for home. A good thing the bus stop was at the giant fly eyes of the durian - esplanade. Nice view I'd say. Charles once told me that all great buildings are controversial in their time. Perhaps he was right.
