I didn't Serve NS again today.

After a couple of questions on radar which really made me worry - I know NUTS about Radar. The rest of the day was spent watching the EXORCIST, talking a little bit about religion and then moving on to another movie - Double Team.

Double team was interrupted by SI Steven who wanted us to do our SARS Acitivity Log. Its so stupid. We do it even though our country's officially SARS free.

SSgt Tay wanted us to go run again while he chased us on a Bike. The weather was dark, with heavy clouds hovering over Brani. We made a bet with SSgt Tay. If it rained - No PT.

SSgt Tay twisted the bet further. He would play a game of Counterstrike with a "representative" of our squad. It would be a one on one match. If we won, no physical training and we could watch the rest of Double Team. If we lose, then we will have to do fatigue for the classroom.

Atek ended up being our representative. He almost beat SSgt Tay. It was a narrow lost of 5-4. Adrian later stepped up to accept the "challege" but was found wanting. Nevertheless, SSgt Tay didn't enforce strict fatigue with us, he was happy that we just cleared the rubbish.

Lately, I've been giving so many wrong answers during nav class and radar class that I've almost lost that "professor" nickname that everyone has given to me. Somehow, carrying that nickname ensures that you get all the hardest questions and you have to end up explaining things when the instructor can't!

Today I managed to redeem myself by proving a mathematical theorem used in Geodeosic Great Circle Navigation. SSgt Tay handed me this official British Navy Textbook that is worth like 50 over pounds and requested that I explain to him why the theorem was so.

He was so happy with my explaination, though it was just a matter of simple mathematical manipulation that he never disturbed me for the rest of the day.

Sometimes, being a little bit smarter than the rest of the squad does have its privileges. =)

I tried to contact mei today via sms but to no avail. Hopefully I can at least meet up with her or something before she's gone for another few months so to speak.

Too bad, couldn't get her on icq, sms and I don't exactly call girls. Its easier to say the right words on the sms than to speak it out in "REAL TIME"

Who knows what kind of God-Forsaken words I might spout. =(
