You know. It is better to actually to either get millions of visitors, or none at all. Its no good being somewhere in the middle of that normal distribution. Somehow, I have a grand total of 13 visitors from the tracker I decided to put up "just for fun". Its so weird when people are referred here by googled thanks to a 3 syllable 10 character name that I shan't mention. And since when did I bother about CJC's ODAC? It's weird.

I realised its also of no point to keep ranting and raving about girls. Its normal for most straight guys I would say. But I think its too excessive to type everything down here. Not to mention, some donkey number of months ago, I pledged not to talk about girls on my blog. It's so weird. My entries are so childish! I'm like looking through the window pane of immaturity.

Oh yeah, Its quite glaring to put "go to bible school" on one side of my blog and to curse and swear in the main paragraph! Although opposites attract, perhaps this is just a case of bipolar disorder... Who knows? After all, I'm a little unwell... I can't believe I go out of point almost all the time when I write. Have to learn to pen in short and sweet, succint, clear, concise sentences. Use simple words and sentence structure and vocabulary to bring across complex ideas. Now that's the power in writing.

I should have done ARTS, especially Poetic Studies and Literature, with GEETHA MANI rather than go full force with Further Maths and Lim See Poi. When I met the old man that day he was jus so happy to see one of his worst students visit him. Odd eh? But ya, he's a funky cool old man who at the age of 60 can run faster than people aged 16 and do more chin ups than most of them!

Well, as for yesterday's patrol. It kinds sucked. I had probably the worst crew set ever. The 1st Gunner was expected to be one big time attitude problem cum bossiness problem guy. Worst. The 2nd gunner also the same attitude problem! Everything also must hao lian. There's only so much to a degree I will politely engage people in conversation for the sake of the 'greater ideals". if they don't appreciate it, its their loss.

I guess they're just a bunch of poorly educated, immature, childish and insecure people who gain happiness by stepping on newly inducted people in the team. Its a good thing that my crew commander was once again a very nice person. He showed me how to start the engine, the generators, the air conditioning in the boat. And since I got to d the shift with him, I didn't have to bear the presence of two overbearing people at the same time. =) They should all fall overboard sometime and never get found.

Its weird sleeping with a gun on your side. As for a right hander like me, you can't exactly roll onto the right side since the gun holster is on your right side. Lots of the people I realise just take off their guns and chuck it on one side of the boat. Well, who knows if someday somebody sobotages them by taking just ONE bullet and tosses it into the sea. Good Luck to you! 7 years in Jail! =P Wonder how I can come up with such evil plans to do away with people who are generally not so nice.

Yes. I sleep with a revolver. It takes sometime to get used to, but more or less, its quite ok.

The boat I was on for last night's shift was quite bad. The tap didn't even work! So no brushing of teeth. Washing of face was done with seawater mixed with condensed from the air conditioner. So it leaves a sticky residue on your hands as well as face. Felt really weird.

Managed to see 3 Japanese Warships, 1 Malaysian Warship, 1 American Paramilitary Ship and 1 Indian Warship on patrol last night. Not bad eh? Talk about defence agreements to bust terrorism!

The area of patrol was around Kusu Island, St John's Island, Lazarus Island, Sister's Islands, Pulau Tekukor and Pulau Seringat. The water was very calm since it had rained earlier yesterday evening. Coming towards morning, the dark clouds that bore rain narrowly missed us by 1 nautical mile on both ends. Just a light drizzle. No fuss.

The Kallang Basin is really filthy. Our boat's jet engines really stirred up a whole pile of black backwash as we were heading back at low tide. Good for anchoring, but the anchor gets really filthy.

Only interesting thing was speeding back to Kallang in the night at 40 knots. The speed limit in the waters below Benjamin Sheares Bridge is about 10 knots. One of the other Coast Guard boats had engine trouble and was difting to a point that they might get grounded. In the end when we reached there, some other kaypo boat had helped them already, so we resumed our normal patrol duty.

A quiet night.

Have info that she has gone to the University of California San Francisco for her degree. Won't be able to see her till december this year, earliest. =(
