I wrote a whole pile on homosexuality in Singapore here, but I realised that the topic is TOO huge to write in here, so here's some light hearted nonsense from my ACJC days. I am really rambling here, so I'm jumping topics very suddenly
simple plan
Another off day for me! Wanted to go down to ACJC today and say hi to Lao Shi, TLC, Mahala and a few other people as well as meet the junior class, pull of some stunts as well as pass around certain objects. Then again, I thought I'd go back to Barker and talk to a few of my teachers from Primary and Secondary School. I have such a bad reputation with them that they never actually forget me. I'm the guy who "consistently fails to hand up work but somehow manages to do well in all the tests" back in Barker. In the end, I though I'd leave it till next week. I think I'm going back to ACJC on monday along with T Squared. Hope that Ivan can at least join us and I'm trying to get Renee to come along as well. Then perhaps, I could do it on Friday as well, since pay day is only on Tuesday and I've yet to get Bell something for her birthday 5 days ago!
In the end, Mom dragged me to Tekka market - again to help her carry stuff. I think this is going to be oh-so-routine in future as mom goes to the market at least twice a week and needs someone to lug all the groceries around. Mom buys so much stuff! Can fill up the whole car boot! For once, I never knew that my family of four eats so much, especially since Dad isn't exactly home for dinner most of the time. Oh well, mom bought crabs from the "crab woman" in the market. Apparently, the "crab woman's" son in CJ played too much that he got retained in JC1. And Mom HAD to compare me with that guy saying that I almost got retained in ACJC in JC1.
Its a quiet day. I'm just going to spend it all on the computer. Don't wanna read the papers, just want to totally waste the time today. Let my mind unwind and be "at ease". I don't want to read the papers, read up anything, do anything for today. I'm just feeling really lazy. Its like my Sunday to me today.
Actually, thinking back about it, I wouldn't have minded being retained! I'll go into ARTS! or maybe, go back to my Junior Class and attend lessons with mei! Hahahahah! And then I can top the F Maths tests all the time! *sniggers* I realised after my stint in ACJ that I'm more of an ARTs person, even though I have to aptitude to do science as well. I'm probably split in the middle between science and arts, but I think I would have been better in the arts stream rather than the science stream. Politics anyone? Then again, I don't want to have the "gay tag" invisibly attached to me by the Science Stream guys!
Well, brother is a good example to being retained. He ended up going from science to arts at the end of JC1 and never regreted it. He basically gained in all aspects. Had a nicer class, prettier girls (oops!), from failing everything to passing everything and of course, gaining the respect of his teachers in arts. In science, it was like his class was one of the condemned ones. In arts, his class was like the most lively and funky arts class to hang out with! The irony of it all.
Alas, my good friend, Vince Larkin (aka PARAPPA BOY, LARKING, LEE KANG WEI VINCE!) ended up dropping F maths after just 2 months in the SA combi and then went to the SG combi. Quite sad that he got retained along with brother. In the end, one is still struggling as much as ever and the other one in arts is like rocking the set! I met him yesterday, his prelims is like 2 weeks away and he's still going out with girls! Damn! So Lucky!
T Squared and I, along with Lester (L Squared) and James (Ja-Mess, Jaimes, Jamessssssssssssss) always laugh at how pitifully bad we are in relating with girls! Everyone else goes all the various parties to hook up other girls in school and somehow, all of us always end up at Bachelor's Parties! I don't think its something to be ashamed of. More of, a gathering of a bunch of losers in love (LILs) having a good time at some filthy rich ACSian's place. Yeah, apparently, the filthy rich ACSian also happens to be a LIL as well. Oh well.... Who says that money is everything in a relationship?
I notice that I digress terribly from my topics - perhaps that what makes it interesting - going terribly out of point.
more nonsense about relationships in ACJC
"She is so masculine, and he's so effeminate... together, I think they make a good couple..."
I can't name the person who said this to me, it would probably destroy his reputation. So yeah. But this was said in commentary to erherm.. Jared Kok and what's her name? Oh ya! Pamela! Go do the mathematics yourself, for all those ARTs students who know the the two bright sparks better!
In 1999, a ancient classmate from my Primary 1 days, Sean Goh (aka, the legendary BuayaBrother), started this irc channel. #LIL. Losers in Love. Or in the sticky caps of those days - LewSerZ in LufF. It was always occupied by a bunch of unattached ACSians who either couldn't find a girl, or prefered to "wait it out" for that one girl or just be one of the guys that do "pretty girls gazing". It was a very popular channel in 2000. Ya, bascially I was in that channel for half my IRC life. So Sad! =(
"She cannot make it one lar"
"She's damn cmi"
-Aaron (How about YOU?)
"Wah fuck sia! She's damn pretty, but too bad lar...."
*eyes open wide* *head follows direction of girl*
-Zhennan
"Woah! Whose that girl, the guy so pro wan ah"
-Thomas the Pro
"I think I'd have a better chance with my sister's classmates in SCGS"
-anonymous
"At the end of the day, it is just looks and money that counts"
-Graeme Ian Khalil
"I realised that some of you are trying, but what's the point of trying if you know you're gonna fail?"
-James
"He satisfies the 5 equations of the five-dimensional vector space: Tall Strong Handsome Rich and Smart - I don't"
-Alwyn
"Wah Lau! Why so like this one!"
-Yuda
"At the end of the day, you must understand something, somethings are just not meant to be"
-Sean Goh
I think this is my most out of point post ever. But somehow, i just have to get it off my chest. If my mom wants me to get attached, it'll be a very long wait for her....
