After a period of procrastination, I have finally uploaded the photos to the ACJC Fun-O-Rama XVII. I honestly feel that the 16th one was much much better. Oh well, perhaps it is just the perspective of time fading my experiences into oblivion. I didn't really have the mood to individually sort out as well as to comment on each picture, thus, whoever views will just have to make do with the way I took the photographs chronologically. For all the ACSians overseas, it is dedicated to you.

17th Anglo-Chinese Junior College Fun-O-Rama

After talking to quite a number of my ACSian friends at the Fun-O-Rama on Saturday. I have come to two major conclusion, that seem to correlate with almost everyone having said it. 1) The haunted houses sucked. 2) The guys walking around in the NCC uniform showing off their one bar rank were a bunch of show-offs. Else "Ya-Ya-Papayas". I never actually went through the haunted houses, but it seems to me that I have nothing but negative feedback. Even my brother's friends who went to the haunted houses felt that they were "a waste of time" and "a waste of money". One even commented "man it was boring". Perhaps the AH and SC4 traditions for haunted houses ought to have their runs ended by either an SA or SB or SG class for once. Next Fun-Fair perhaps.

All the shirts I purchased were of size XL and above. L is a little bit tight around my shouders and M is a definitive no-no. Surprisingly, XL is just the right size. Not to big, not too small. And its of good quality as well. Much better than the faded "lite barb" science council shirt that I have been donning for ages.

I've been thinking for a long time about investing in my own digital camera. After a long period of thought, I have realised that the Sony F-828 is NOT the camera for me. Considering, price, usability and other factors like storage media and camera lens, I feel that I should plunge straight into a slight higher level of prosumer cameras - the bottom of the digital SLR leage. Thus, my choice will be the Canon EOS 300D Digital Rebel. Its not going to come cheap, especially with additional lenses, an external flash as well as assorted polarising filters. At the same time, I feel that it will be a worthy investment. As 3.2 Megapixels is the current norm in digital photography that can produce very good photo print outs, I believe that a 6.3 megapixel camera should suffice for at least 2 years.

Soon, I will spending a lost less time online, instead, I shall devote myself simply to reading all the unread books in my room. Mum already says that my room resembles a warehouse. How true indeed. It is truly, truly messy. But I love to draw "order from this disorder". Some chaos theory or something of the like. So far, I find it odd that I have never actually walked into a guy friend's room and found it to be neat and nicely in order. Never. Prof Wang, T-Squared's rooms are extraordinarily messy. Food for thought: Do we indirectly inherit some of the traits of our friends unconsciously?

NS has really made me into quite a lazy person. I only do the bare minimum that is expected of me. Even at home, I seem to be procrastinating almost everything that I have to do to another time. Somehow, I really just enjoy this, literally taking things one day at the time, just drifting and bobbing in the current of life and savouring every moment of my life to enjoy the simple pleasures of this world. I know the pace will start racing all over again, life will be back to its hustle and bustle once NS is over. Strange, on one hand I can't wait to ORD. On the other, I can't bear to leave the simple life I lead right now. Ah well, indecisive me.

Nothing really inspiring or anything worth self-reflecting the last 3 days. I'm done.
