Everyone seems to be changing their layout. Thus I felt inspired to change mine at 3a.m in the morning yesterday. It didn't take much time, at the most 20 to 30 minutes of simple tweaking and its done. As much as I would like to design a really complicated and funky blog layout, I guess I'll just have to settle for simple designs.

I've changed the font at last. I felt it was about time I switched from tiny font to something more medium sized. I hope that it does not get too hard to read though. In the meantime I just pray that my admissions documents will reach Washington University in time for the deadline and everything will be in order and I will receive a reply that my matriculation will be deferred till September next year. Once this is done, a heavy burden will be lifted of my chest. All that uncertainty is amplified by the time it takes for the mail to get over there as well as for the office of undergraduate admissions to process it.

Express Registered mail is not cheap. I sent 5 sheets of paper to the university at a grand cost of 31.50. The funny thing is that the address is so long that I can't even squeeze one line of it onto the registered-mail address label. I just pray that my confirmation documents reach there in time and in order, my bank draft does not mess up, my required documents are accepted and I am deferred an entry to next year. Quite a number of nail-biting things indeed. But I shall not worry. I shall just leave them to God. I've done what I can.

I realise that if 5 sheets of registered mail that takes 4 days to deliever is so expensive. I can imagine how much the university paid to send me their documents folder. Via UPS and its OVERNIGHT delivery.

Stiches were removed today and I can safely say that after just 8 days, I have made a remarkable, if not hasty recovery. My vision is back to normal, save some difficulty looking towards the right and most of the scratches have completely healed. The stitched up area of skin have healed leaving a small scar, but the doctor says that it will eventually disappear with time. Looks much nicer, doesn't it? Thank God.
