I had alot of problems with my layout yesterday. Apparently, it kept posting double entries for every post I made. Managed to fix it at around 1a.m. Felt very happy and satisfied.
Wan Ting has a new website! And she's prettier than ever! I think all the nerds doing computer science in NUS will just be so distracted with her in the lecture hall! I bet she'll be like the "course babe" or something!
uniform fetish II
I neglected to mention the secondary school girls' uniform that turn me on:
MGS and SCGS! The rest, nah! The MGS girl's uniform has this really unique characteristic: The pinafore is worn on the INSIDE. The thing is that, the mgs girls can "mix and match" with a small pinafore and a big blouse! I don't know how it works, but the overall effect of the "stretched collar" and funky skirt is just so alluring. Anyway, ACS loves MGS (oops! this is too sweeping a statement, but it was true for my batch of ACS boys) very much! Have to love the sister school abit abit mah!
SCGS uniform. I guess the sleeveless part of the uniform was always very interesting, being the only girl's uniform in the country that was sleeveless, that's a real distinguishing factor! Besides, its like cheongsam inspired piece of clothing that's so body hugging!
I'm really evil to write such things on my blog, but its true! I can honestly not deny such stuff about the uniforms! =)
bondage sex
Mr Kadir - the SEX GURU told me something interesting today. The bugger has a huge fetish for bondage sex! He was telling me that when's he's a senior police officer, when he can bring his revolver, handcuffs and other police armaments home. He's going to handcuff his wife and "whip" her for that sexual arousal and pleasure.
The best thing is that he says switching roles every now and then will be the key for a "spicy relationship".
"One day handcuff her, next day she handcuff me and beat me - OW! SHIOK SIA!"
Hmmmm.... Ok, so a few of the Barker guys, plus some of the ACJC guys I know have this knack for kinky bondage sex. Ah, I'll leave them to their devices. Need to to find a book giving a Christian Perspective on SEX soon. I think I saw one in Life Bookshop - hope they have it still. =)
of relationships
It is interesting to note something on mei's blog. Very interesting indeed.
" i've seen enough of ijustgotdumpedandfeellikethewholeworldiscrashingonme blogs, and also the whydoeshemakemelovehimyetleavemenowwhy!!!! blogs, and not forgetting the imsofarkinghurtbuticantgetoverhimiwanttodieeee blogs. sounds familiar? "
now change the "she" to a "he" and vice versa.
Guys do feel the same too. Just that they have to be macho not to show it on their faces. There's one more category that mei seems to have missed out:
"I love her so much I want to die for her but she doesn't want me" type. Or synthesized:
"I am pining for a girl who will NEVER be mine".
Call it post-traumatic breakup stress syndrome disorder. It just makes guys go into a severe downward spiral of extreme depression and sadness and the feeling that life is meaningless and not worth living. I think most guys are more afraid of being rejected by a girl than the fear or trying to chat her up and the fear of regretfully not trying to get to know that girl.
Its like, being rejected by a girl is the ultimate destruction of pride and ego and male machismo.
PINING, a word found in complex chinese literature (that has been translated to its equivalent in english). An extreme desire to love, care and shower kindness, gifts and time for a girl that will never accept the guy.
It's very sad to know that lots of guys pin for girls they'll never get.
hidden shock, then disparagement
I failed the navigation exam. SSgt Tay was horrified when he received the results from the markers. The "professor" he had been hoping for to do exceedingly well had actually failed an exam!
In a sense, I let him down, I let SSI John down. I think I let all my instructors and trainers and squad mates down. They never expect the so-called professor to fail in his naviagtion exam, especially since he was the one explaining quite alot of things!
I didn't study on purpose. I just wanted to pass the paper. I missed it, by 2.5 marks. That's like 2 MCQ questions short or one structured question short of the passing mark of 70. I just told the rest that I purposefully failed to avoid ending up in office hours.
In the end, my stupid hindsight didn't tell me that as a result of my failure, I cannot collect the additional 150 bucks per month for sea allowance. In addition, I am considered non-seaworthy and could end up as a PERMANENT SENTRY - a horrific form of NS.
To open and close the gates for 1 day in Tracom is bad enough. Doing it for 2 years! I'd rather go AWOL.
There's a retest on monday. I am going to ACE that paper with a minimum of 90 marks. I am so sure I can do it. It'll be a great way to restore my "position" =)
Anyway, the news of my "failure" reached the deputy head of training for the coast guard training school and it seems they are like going to give me 3 marks to pass me, in order to qualify me as a seamanship trainer!
So I might end up on office hours, not as a clerk, but as a TEACHER! I get paid a miserable 420 bucks a month since I don't go out to sea. =( But I only work about 2 hours a day, just teaching new trainees about the boat and stuff. I wouldn't say its a bad form of NS. =)
It would be a good grounding to become a teacher in future!
shipboard assessment
I think for the shipboard assessment, I did marginally well. They said that there was no retest to this exam and should I fail, I could jolly well end up as a sentry for the next 3 months, until a new squad comes in for training and I will sit for the exam again with them.
There were five stations, 2 of which I cannot reveal as it is classified, The other being Radar, Navigation and Rope Tying.
I guess I did ok on all the stations. Unlikely to fail any of them. But unlikely to do well either.
So this time, I'm passing out without any award and stuff, unlike Tracom, but I don't care. I'm happy just to be no longer a trainee. =)
eco challenge
I won't go into details into my blog today because I have to sleep early. There's going to be a hiking expedition tomorrow at Bukit Timah Nature Reserve. Just hope I don't get too tired after the whole thing since a combined Cellgroup will be held at my house! Looking forward to it. Just hope nothing screws up.
I went with Nico to check out that pirated shop in Far East today. They're selling lots of nice DVDs at 15 dollars and not 9 - I misread it yesterday. Most of them are new shows. Just too bad that I have no money at all. I am totally broke. I don't even have enough cash to buy Bell a decent present. Sigh.
Rahmat told me that even though we're promoted to corporal soon, the police won't give us our corporal pay until 3 months later because they need to manually adjust the payroll.
They are such CHEATS! Cut here and cut there on our pay and then later make us pay for all kinds of unwarranted stuff that we never get/see or use. NS pay is such a rip off. Die Die, they will try to pay us as little as possible. Can't stand their cheaterbug attitude.
moren tea estate @ esplanade acoustic stage
Went to check out merf's band play acoustic at the explanade today. The crowd numbered around 250 I think and they played really well as part of the Baybeats festival. My my, his band is really going places - theire next perfomance will be a paying one. And they're not even a year old as a band!
Just tagged along with Merf and some of his Mass Communication classmates. Ended up meeting Zu Boon, a barker boy doing Mass Com in Ngee Ann, my sec 1 and 2 classmate. In addtion, I met up with Kelvin Tan, my sec 3 and 4 classmate. Also got to know who is the guy who created the jcguide.com website.
Overall, people in mass com are easy to talk to and they're alot more relaxed than most of the ac people I've seen. Haha, such a pretigious course is actually so slack.
Not making much sense in my blog today. Quite tired. Have to rest now.
