I have to seriously start typing shorter blogs. Shu Yin told me yesterday that she could not even finish reading one entry of my blog online. I asked her to print it out to read. But seriously, who actually bothers about a blog that no one visits?

I woke up at around 8.30 today. Wow, its like the latest I've woken up these few weeks thus far. I only slept at 1 a.m last night so I don't understand why I have to sleep so much. I must train myself mentally to stay awake till 2 a.m, sleep for only 4 hours and then wake up at 6 a.m to start off the day. I need to be more productive and not so slack, especially since not too long from now I will have the luxury of more time and I must maximise the usage of it.

I checked out the Princeton's Review on 334 Best Colleges in America. The University of Washington in St. Louis is ranked to be one of the best in the WHOLE country. It is even ranked higher than some of the Ivy League universities in certain areas and courses. Incredible? I can't believe what I saw when I first read it. The report stated that students who apply to UWSTL also applied to Harvard, Princeton, MIT, Yale, Stanford, Brown, Dartmouth, Duke and goodness knows what else.

Supposing I can gain entry here and survive and like ideally graduate with two majors, I theoretically have it all: An excellent education. But seriously, I'd rather go to New York University still, because of the irresistible urge to attend Dr Bernard's Church, The Christian Cultural Center formerly known as the New York Christian Life Centre. I'll see first, I'll just apply and see if I gain entry. But finding a good church all the way in Missouri is something that I'm not sure of. Even if its University of Texas at Austin, I think there several good churches still.

I'll just apply first and pray about it, See what Father God has to say.

Church today was wonderful! I was like literally dragging myself to church (as always) but today's Praise was exceptionally good, more ever, Worship was wonderful! I sang one of those songs that I can truly relate too. Worship was so good that I actually kneeled down to sing out my heart. Its honestly very rare of me to kneel down in church and sing, although lots of people do it. The Chorus was:

How great You are
How great You are
You are the Mighty King
and You've come to reign in me
How great You are
How great You are
You are the Mighty King
and You've come to reign in me
I give you all the praises of my heart

I feel that it is such an honest song. After worship, I managed to give my all to God again. Mom was sympathetic to the fact that I had spent all my money so she just gave me 10 bucks for lunch and you guess where the 10 dollars went.

I feel that giving God a good offering is only rightful after such excellent worship. I pray that in future I'll NEVER give the LORD less than 10 dollars offering in any church I visit, any conference I attend, any one of Christian events as well. I set that target as my MINIMUM. I would be good to make the 10 a 50, but perhaps that's at a later time when I have more faith in God.

Then there was a very heart moving testimony from a guy whose mother had sacrificed much for him. Its so sad I just cried in church. Sometimes I find it so odd. I try to hold back my tears outside the four walls of church and my room (where I pray). Its like die die cannot cry at all. But when I'm in church or talking to God in my room. Tears just flow really freely from my eyes. I think I'm really screwed up in this area.

Then the message, it was all about dealing with resentment and stuff. I realised that I'm just an idiot committing emotional suicide. Its nowonder why I don't feel other people's sadness. Its no wonder why I'm pretty much depressed all the time. Emotional Suicide. I need to go research more on that topic.

My inbox is full to its max, so what I'm doing is using Netscape Mail to suck out a copy of every message in the server, whilst leaving a copy of it on the server. I need a backup of all my email for the last 5 years. I'm such a sentimental person. Even insignificant things like email I treasure. Dad told me yesterday that I seem to like classic stuff. I have to agree.

I love black and white bungalows, antique furniture, Ming pottery, Victorian appliances, old coins, old stamps, things with history embedded in it.
