I am such a stupid jerk!

I packed a hammer and screwdriver to Kallang today. When I reached my locker. I found my key still inserted into my lock! I am such a forgetful and foolish jerk! Just yesterday i forgot to bring my beret for PDP, forgot to bring a pen, forgot to put my shirt back in the locker after changing.

Last saturday I forgot to keep my belt in the locker in Kallang. Not too long ago I forgot to put my uniform back into the locker! And on my first attachment, I forgot to bring back my security pass! I am truly getting more and more absentminded! I really need to be more careful and not so muddle-headed.

Shu Yin says that I am a guy of many inner conflicts. I thinks she's very right. I am so distracted by what's inside me that I neglect what's on the outside of me. I even forgot the things that I want to type into my blog sometimes.

I didn't mention this in yesterday's entry, but 2 days ago, I dreamt of her. I was so happy during my dream, so happy. When I woke up and found that it was just an illusion of non-existent grandeur. I felt so sad. I really miss her more than any other person in my life.

I woke up at 5.30 today, felt half dead. But nonetheless, I shall not take more than 30 hours of sleep a week. I must train my mind and body to be strong and long-lasting.

Nothing much happened today, just a simple class at Kallang, for which I didn't pay attention as usual.

The afternoon was just about learning how to moor a boat to the wharf when docking. I was taught the "proper procedure". SSI John asked me to take down notes in class and to "teach" one of the regulars who would be going for an exam. Damn, I get recommended because my squad mates think I'm a smart guy. They won't believe it when I say that I'm pretty dumb.

Wait till they meet Winston Chin, Boon Leong, Zhi Ming, Charles, Wesley, Cherie, Cheryl, Shu Ning, Keith Teo, Kendrick and a whole bunch of the CF people. THEY are smart. Geniuses in fact. Boon's going to the elite and very very prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Winston's studying MEDICINE at CAMBRIDGE! Zhi Ming's going to do Medicine at the University of London's Imperial College of Science, Medicine and Technology. Charles can easily go to Wesleyan, Shu Ning's like going to Harvard/Princeton. Kendrick (CF President) will probably end up in Cambridge or Oxford.

And my squad mates consider me smart? I'm not man. Seriously and honestly speaking. I have been humbled academically by these people.

Damn. Sometimes I ask why the hell am I surrounded by so many smart people and yet I am not like them?

Perhaps something which SSI John said about me which I would accept half-heartedly as a form of praise.

"You seem to be an intellectual person"

And I just quoted, "Theoretical and Practical are 100% different". Tying ropes in your head and on the boat are world's apart. That quote was merely a philosophical deduction.

Heh, I took 16 then 77 home today instead of going by MRT. Its faster, although more expensive. I dislike walking from the MRT to home (20 minutes walk!). It leaves me wet with sweat all over. Not that I'm upset, but haven't I sweated enough buckets during training already? The bus company cheated me of 1.60. The card wouldn't scan on the exit door. So I paid 2.40 for a 80 cent bus ride.

SBS CHEATS!!!!!! LTA is in cahoots with them and the PTC assists these money sucking pigs.

I managed to see Meishuang on the bus today. She just stared at me for a while. Perhaps she did recognise me as one of her twin sister's friends. Its seems to be that she's working as a receptionist/clerk at Gleneagles' hospital or somewhere in that area. At first I thought it was just a look-alike, but the trademark mole gave her away. Policemen must be "observant"! (guffaw!). Too bad, since I didn't know her personally, I couldn't talk to her.

Perhaps she was thinking, "This guy looks familiar, like from ACJC or something, but how can it be? He should be in army and be in camp now. Not in civilian and on this bus, It must just be a look-alike"

Meishuang: One of the prettiest girls in school. ARTS chio bu! Very popular with the guys in her class. Often seen at many AC parties. In the hip and cool and popular crowd in ACJC. Well, she's grown even more pretty. What can I say. I bet her class guys would like just drool at her after being stuck in an all-male environment for so long.
